Ven. Prajñānanda Mahathera, former General Secretary (1978–1988) and President (2011–2014) of PBSB, played a key role in expanding the organization’s reach. He led Buddhist NGOs in Dhaka and represented Bangladesh in global Dhamma conferences—making lasting contributions in both spiritual reform and social development across the country.
