On the first inaugural day of the Bhikkhu Sangha Conference, held as part of the National Funeral Ceremony of the Most Venerable Tilokananda Mahāthero—
the Honorable 4th Sangharaja of Parbatya Bhikkhu Sangha Bangladesh, an Agra Mahāpandit, a humble and compassionate human being, a guardian of the helpless, and a living symbol of loving-kindness—
in accordance with the Constitution of the Sangha and through unanimous consensus, the following nominations were made:
- Most Venerable Prajñānanda Mahāthero has been nominated as the 5th Sangharaja of Parbatya Bhikkhu Sangha Bangladesh.
- Most Venerable Shraddhalankar Mahāthero has been nominated as the Deputy Sangharaja.
On this historic occasion, we extend our deepest respect and heartfelt congratulations to the newly nominated Sangha leaders.
May the ideals, loving-kindness, and wisdom of the Most Venerable Tilokananda Mahāthero continue to flourish and be further enriched through their leadership—this is our sincere prayer.
